Part II of Boyfriend's birthday celebration:
the first part of boy's bday was in "France", that was french dinner.
the next day, dear was on leave so off we went for part II. I brought him to have yummy savoury cantonese dim sum, so from France we "flew to Hongkong".
After brunch, we went to Vivo to catch a movie Julie & Julia...is a great show!!! coincidentally the movie was set in France, this year's birthday was French themed? Nehx, not really, just that we recently developed a liking for snails ie escargots, so we have been more French-ie.
Walked around Vivo, thinking about what's for dinner..toying the idea between Korean and Japanese...in the end, we headed to Cuppage for yakitori Jap dinner!
That night marked the end of dear's birthday celebration, and the next day was back to work!!!
A few days later, which is today, marks our 51st month anniversary and I was planning to give him a surprise. I went supermarketing, bought ingredients to cook curry for dear!
Here goes what happened....i called dear while i was on way home, he didn't pick up his hp then i sms him and told him don't call me back, because "i am on a mission - cooking"
Finally the curry was stewing and i called him and told him to sniff hard!!! Of course needed him to head to my house before we can begin our feast! my initial plan was to bring him for a night picnic at ECP but weather hasn't been that good...raining all day and thunder and lightning...waited for him to take bus come my house...i called him..he missed the bus and he didn't have a brolly..so off i drove to fetch him from work...dear says im a sweet and loving girlfriend! once we're back home, we had salad, beef curry with baguette and wine!!!!!
told dear that the curry was "around the world" because....
the beef was from Australia, the tomatoes from Malaysia, onions from India, carrots from USA, baguette from France and curry from Japan......not that i created these locations, but i read them off the labels at Cold Storage!
*Thank you dearie for cooking the lovely dinner! It was divine and i could certainly feel like im travelling all over the world. I love the delicious curry and i am looking forward to eating it again! Yummy!*
