oh no!! in a twinkle, mid term break has ended! this is so super terrible, because through out the holidays i didn't accomplish much..
was supposed to start on my dissertation but i just simply lazed around..
not to even mention about the other projects in line..

over the weekend was the exciting..inaugural F1 night race..fancy the whole family watching together..we even betted on the races..
on saturday was the pole race, so dad, mum and me betted on who will get pole position..

after monday's SEC gathering..been feeling rather..would i say emo?!? maybe more like blessed and fortune and having hypes of happiness about how this enormous group of us was bonded and friendships forged..
as i always say : i am rather a loner, not that of a socializer, more of a introvert..but yet when with this clinque..there is openess, laughter, gossipy moments, enjoyment, happiness..all in all a variety of good feelings!
while packing up my room abit, began to dig through my "letter box"..a box where i keep all my letters from friends since primary school, though some letters had been lost along the way..
began to dig further and decided to pull out all those by SEC and read through..
i had the whole SEC write to me during my 21st birthday!

the start of mid term break!!!
monday
went back to school for HR meeting..conflict management and negotiation..not bad! we spent about 4 hours negotiating about the title and the contents of our project..
then meet SEC for dinner at heeren NYDCdiner..happy and enjoying, except that we were not full attendance..then we walked down to alley bar for drinks, and yes! we were indeed the noisiest group there..entertaining ourselves as usual with even the simpliest games of scissors, paper, stone and we had a clear winner..
FENELLA aka "quan nu wang"...and
YAN FANG aka "5,10,15,20 queen" both girls beat the guys flat down...guess it has indeed been sometime since we had such carefree moments..
tuesday
didn't have enough sleep from the night before..abit semi-zombie state, went for valuation site visit at rochor..the 6 of us walked around the site, then settled at shaw's starbucks for discussion till 1plus..
after that me and mel walked down to city hall, and coincidentally we saw the road closure for F1..the roads were cleared, and empty..we were local tourists for that moment taking photos of raffles hotel, some interesting arts thingy at south beach...we bought chippy fries and went to starbucks with the intention to study.......but we ended up chatting for 2hours i guess...hehe..but it was sure enjoyable..we discovered that both of us "mother and nu er" kinda have the same kind of relationship fate..
mel left to meet friend at town and i stayed on to read my com med notes till 7plus before i went orchard to meet DD..and of course during the time lapse before he met me, i did shopping!!! after so much reading, of course need to relax and rejuvenate!
after yesterday's talk with nu er..i decided that i shall adopt an open approach in my relationship..meaning i shall take a back seat, relax and just enjoy whatever is being instored, and whatever isn't there, i shall just find my own other means..no more controlling..just want to find back the things that i had once missed, slipped out on...enjoy life!

this is the morning that i have been waiting since last week!
pete is home! went to the airport to pick him just now..and yeah..no more lonely and quiet nights at home...besides pete being home, of course not forgetting my present...hehe... (",) super duper happy!!! pete being a china man, missed out on rice and stuff during the trip in europe, so on the way home we went to bedok for chwee kueh, carrot cake, fishball noodles and teh peng for breakfast..and of course take the chance to chit chat!!!
besides my present, pete brought me another souvenir home..he picked 2 chestnuts (gao luck) from vienna and brought home..just to show me how does fresh ones look like..haha..
i also got safe chocolates..made not from china milk...!!!

to celebrate the start of mid break..we went to clarke quay last friday..cafe iguana..
as it was happy hour and it was a happy day because hols are here..we indulged in 2 jugs of magaritas..and the outcome..i was abit drunk..and managed to see the opening ceremony of the light up of the singapore river with the "jellyfish" lightings!!! pretty pretty!! :)

yup yup!! this was what i did over the weekend..car boot sale!!!suntanning under the scorching sun at big splash for half a saturday..result..can't even earn enough to cover the rent and i got super duper sun burnt!!! roars...a good experience i will say, but yet surely will the first and the last..
thankful for the tiny drizzle in the late afternoon that after that me and mum decided to pack up and go home and we didn't even open stall on sunday...hehe..

oh..i miss pete..home is so quiet without him around..got no one for me to nag at..i cant tell him not to snack so much..no one that comes home early to entertain me, pei me watch TV..
oh pete!!now he is in prague on a one day tour on his own, while his friends are attending meeting..hope he knows how to take care..don't anyhow walk around and never follow the tour guide..most impt is to take photos for me, get me hat pins though i forget to tell him..lets see if he has my heart...and i told him to take photos of his food..yummy..
he says that weather is cold there..but he only brought a coat there..well well..he just have to make good with what he has and wrap himself up..
his touring austria, prague, munich, paris..ohh..he promises that he will bring me there someday..so he better do so..he go holiday alone wouldn't be as fun as bringing me along la..he will miss my nagging..well because he had a long connecting flight with those weird timings..i packed him a red bean bun that night so that he can eat for breakfast..but instead he checked it in his luggage..so i told him that he can just keep that bun and look at it everyday and think of me..its to remind him not to eat too much..hehe..but i think i should be in his tummy already..
cant wait for next wednesday when he is home and i will go airport pick him up in the morning..waiting for my present..what's paris famous for..yups..that will be my present..mum and bro has one too..of course given that pete is such a stern man..he would not know how to shop, so i went online to search for my own gift and printed the picture..
ok now i am home alone again..mum at work..bro though came home, but now he is off running with his friend..at this time of the night..DD has just ended soccer training..
roars..i don't know how to do my tutorial..i have to do my dissertation proposal..finally meeting my supervisor..
come on!! i want the weekend to come faster..that means mid term break is here..and yeah..this weekend i will be at big splash car boot sale..what an experience..just me and mum under the hot sunny sun..wishing for good bright weather..then i will have good flourishing business..i need cash..though the govt has given me a timely growth dividend..
i need a trip badly..hopefully i manage to go bintan..or even the least give me sentosa..

last friday, we went for dinner at old airport before heading to cineleisure to catch a movie..
MAMA MIA was great..was totally engrosed in the movie, listening to the ABBA oldies..hilarious and touching and loving movie..best part of all, we were seated at the first row of the cinema and my neck and head was kinda aching after the show..but no choice, if not i will have no movie to watch that night and i didn't want to waste the trip nor watch it another time..sometimes juts have to satisfy that sudden desire for something nice..and yes..i couldn't resist the capsules machine, because there was stitch!
TADA! my new stitch toy! 
this was my new toy added to my car..its getting crowded..full of turtles, fruits and now..aliens..
after thursday night lecture, we wanted to head to holland V walawala..but due to the spike in publicity about the issue of the EPS system of the carpark and no more valet services..the carpark was super crowded and there were many attendents around the place catching illegal parking and preventing valets conducting business..so we drove to dempsey PS cafe instead..

yes its the weekends finally!
and an even happier thing to rejoice about..i finally got my dissertation topic approve..and sup says that its a promising topic..so of course that would mean that i have even more things to do..have to research alot of stuffs..read up alot..soon i think at the end of this final year..maybe i will be myopic and have to start wearing spectacles..
i was so worried that she would disapprove my proposal again..criticise my lousy slipshod hypothesis..to the extend that on friday i whole day dare not check my NUS email..till i went out to play..eat my supper..then i checked it out before i went to sleep..haha..i asked DD to check my email for me..and all he did was laugh very loud..of course..well he is happy that i finally made it..
hmm this proposal..i did it at the twelveth hour and sent to her email at 1am..i thank my lucky stars and hope that from here on everything will be fine..!
today morning brought my car go for car waxing..but not that its rainy again..kinda feel that its useless..well waiting for the car..DD and me went to j8 for lunch, then after collecting car, we decided to drive to ang mo kio to look for the shop that sells mao chan wang durian mooncake, but its sold out, so we ended up buying old fashioned cakes..yum yum..
had dinner at sun moon, super beefy cause unknowingly we ordered all 3 dishes that contained beef..moo moo! wanted to watch movie but it started to rain heavily and we were stuck in taka, couldn't walk over to cine..
the stress is building up at school with all the projects to be started and to meet the deadlines..
still there are happy moments..enjoy school..like after night classes going for a tau huay break! thursday night, DD, me, zhenrong, maggie and rex went to rochor tau huay! yum yum..and of course there is always a gossiping san ba session..hehe..
today's newspaper talked about ERP..more to start operation in November..roars..so kong bu..on friday past the gantry at CTE at 8.33 am cost me $3 instead of the usual $2 when i pass before 8.30am..could have saved a dollar..driving is expensive..and when i head home..i have to divert to save $1 cause the ERP onliy shuts of at 10.30pm..can't imagine if countries like bangkok having ERP, their roads and like many times more jammed than ours..
2 more weeks to mid break!
its just past midnight and i am having a boring saturday night!

today is an happy elated day, as well as an upsetting day..
happy things first..yeah i got new decors for my car again..from tomorrow onwards, my car will smell nice and sweet everyday and every moment...so do inhale and take a deep breath when u take a ride in
my xiang xiang car! one surprise ain't enough..
good things comes in doubles (translate..hao shi cheng shuang...if ms lim sees this, grade me ya..)DD got me two presents..i also got another new toy that can diong diong..and the message is meaningful "
BABY IN THE CAR"..yupz..that is ME, yours truely..i am DD's BABY! hehe *blush*
DD gave me one present first during dinner and i thought well that is enough, because i didn;t even prepare anything..then on the way home, he just happily takes out another gift and starts to hang it.."what if i put this up"once again i burst out laughing..because so coincidental, on sunday i went to buy air freshener for my car and well he can't prevent me from buying because otherwise i will suspect he got me a fragrance pouch..great minds think alike..or is it my car is beginning to smell..*blehz*
yesh yesh..i am very happy today..had a good dinner, though i feel cheated..and superb dessert that DD places it top of his list of dessert choice..but i told him that next time we eat that dessert, no way we two can share it anymore..we have to order two and each one eats their own..hehe..

oh yah..we first time had lunch at PGP astons..celebrated lewis birthday!and poor rong hurt her toe..ouchie..
now for the sad ending of my happy day..ah fook officially rejected my case of switching supervisor..so now i am back to square one of having to think of a new topic again..and i have totally no direction at all..anyone got any idea on topics related to price dynamics, pricing options..somebody save me!!!

Happy 37th month anniversary
dear and me went pak tor on friday!we went to steakhouse at clarke quay.Finally boy got to savour that wagyu beef, and yums yums indeed, juicy and cooked to perfection. Yes! its a "

after some walking, we went to nectarie for cakes..sweet, chocolatey and yummy way to end the night!we had
double chocolate mud cake and a opera cake!missed out on their banana cake bcos we were a tad too full.next time!
the spore river is lighted up only today, but that day we caught glimpse of the lanterns and took some fotos. chang-er was supposed to be in the background but lights not on.
the 12 chinese zodiacs on display..something like chinese new year at the "he pan"..
