The dash of one last week to conquer the words monster...
currently at state of loss and confusion because duno what i want to test and duno how to word certain issues..
Today read the newspaper and they reported that if parents used gestures to a baby more, it will improve the baby's vocabulary...i guess my parents didn't do so, because i don't seem to have 10000 words of vocabulary...

on tuesday, went to interview lendlease...was kind of anticipating that i will be meeting a "uncle", but it turned out to be a young guy...well versed and good looks...so maybe that's why after that when i came home to type the interview script i had a total mental block, can't really remember and unable to express what he had said...must have been too immersed in my own world at that moment...

well well...hmm hmm...that day after our tandem bike outing....me and dear created an "ARTHUR-LY Fun Club"...we organised a tandem bike outing BYOP (bring your own partner) after the submission of dissertation...but appparently...response not so good...kinda sad :(
so far only got ONE couple sign up....the other couple (rex and mag) may or may not go, depending on their state of mind after submission...
woah...if only a few people...then we can have picnic and cycling already...pot luck picnic...how about "make your own sandwich" MYOS....

okie..guess i am just so need to divert my attention from the monster to something more fun...hopefully it stimulates my brain cells...

HAPPY VALENTINE DAY!!!

well well..this year we decided to go the economic way of celebration. we just went to east coast, rent a tandem bike and cycled from big splash to near changi and back, nearly 20km..now i am having a aching painful butt...and then for dinner, we didn't want to cramp at restaurants, so we just packed carls junior and came home to eat...
present exchange was also abit simple..i just made him a 3D jigsaw puzzle and he just bought me a mini cake..actually the real present was to be a all expense paid trip from him to me..after the submission of dissertation!!! hehe..
the day celebration was good, but the night before was bad, cause we quarrel quite badly..but at least all well's ends well!

after all the cycling..today was the 2nd family morning jog and walk session at bedok reservoir..hoping that tomorrow i wouldn't suffer from both butt and leg aches...

today i played trauncy..i didn't go to school for lecture..why? cause i felt ultimate hungry and didn't feel like letting my tummy growl during the lecture...so i went to fetch dear after work and we went to eat satay!!! and after that we went to ice cream chef..mocha and peanut butter ice cream with waffle crisps... :)

so far so far away from my quota of surveys..barely near the 1st three digit mark yet...

on sunday, went to central with dear to ask some tenants to do survey for me..walked the whole mall, every corner...in the end i only got 3 surveys done..kinda demoralising but on the lucky side..at least i didn't mail the surveys to them, otherwise hundreds of dollars of postage fees would have gone down the drain..

then yesterday, me and pamela went to PS and Raffles city...after multiple rejections from tenants, as well as stalls that were mended by chinese ladies who of course couldn't answer my survey...we went on a shopping spree instead...hehe..walked two malls and only got 1 survey done..well big branded or chain shops, no point for me to survey them cause the leasing decision ain't made by the salesperson..so i can only mail to their HQ..mailed but no response still...

now i am desperate for surveys..i started googling for retail shops' websites and email to their customer service, hopefully they help me to forward to their boss and i will get some replies..

over the weekend..i experienced the 24/7 feeling of the private sector cause i had been receiving emails from the developers over saturdays and sundays..and so i had to spend my weekend replying them too..and luckily i found some kind souls who are helping me with the interviews...

ROARS ROARS!!!

i need a relaxing trip at this month end....

so far so good..I HOPE!
14 surveys collected so far..out of the don't know how many hundred I need to collect..ROARS!!

something good..some light shining into the tunnel..far east is going to help me with my surveys, I can survey their tenants of far east square and central..praying hard that everything will go smooth..and maybe I will request to interview their director too..
and if nothing goes wrong, I will get to interview ION too..

the most hopeful thing would be that I will receive some responses from the mailed surveys, otherwise total waste of my postage fees..

today..i played trauancy again..and my partner in crime is abang aeron..once again both of us skipped lecture..but this time we were early for our tutorial..haha..the last time we were late for more than 30 mins..

of all days when I planned to go jog with pam in the evening, it started to pour..what a timing! of all the days that the sky was grey and gloomy, it didn't rain..

alright..i am hungry..what cookie shall i feast on?

countdown 25 more days to submission of dissertation!

Now I am facing a mental block and unable to type out anything. My surveys aren't getting me anywhere yet, because as usual developers are very not helpful..they are afraid of releasing information about their tenants as they worry that their rivals will get wind..so I am back to square one..now I got to think of other ways to get hold of tenants to do my survey..this is the time to reach out to all networks available..front door or back door means..hehe..sneaky way but is a no choice...
