I am currently not in my best mental state. Beginning of the year, found out that dad has 3 blocked arteries and he underwent operation. Over these few months, had been monitoring his diet, going on walks with him and things are better now, state of health has improved. This is very good news! Just as everything seem so well, only to discover on Monday that mummy is now experiencing some part of her heart not functioning properly. Should I say it was lucky that I went to have lunch with mummy at her office and she wasn't feeling well, so I accompanied her to see her doctor, and later she was suspected to have a minor heart attack. She felt faint and had tightness in her chest and break out in cold sweat, her doctor referred her to a heart doctor, which happens to be the same doctor as my daddy. He did some tests on her and immediately admitted her in, and had a minor operation to check if she has any artery blockage like daddy. Luckily she doesn't have artery blockage, but worse case being that it's her heart that's not functioning proper. This makes everything more worrying. Tests results aren't out yet, this Saturday have to go back to the hospital for review and meanwhile, this week she is on MC, resting at home.
Yesterday, spent the whole day at the ICU ward. Today had exam, luckily Missy nurse Pam is on off today, and she went to the hospital to keep mummy company and brought her home and even stayed at my house till I came back from school. And now, daddy is back from overseas too, at least there is more people in the house now. These 2 episodes of heart related problems of my parents, soon I think I will be next to have heart attack.......for the rest of the time, I will have to worry and look after them, and scared of whatever that may happen to them.
Now, given mummy's condition, our trip to melbourne might be cancelled and no overseas trip for me, till everything is better. Seems like I will have to start work soon and help lighten mummy's workload.
I just pray that my whole family is safe and sound and pink of health!
