another free day from school..hehe..
surprisingly mum stayed home today to bake but its because she's not feeling well..kinda guilty that i hafnt been helping her much in the baking..except i only spend time in the kitchen talking to her..thinking of the past does bring back fond memories..
talking about past chinese new years..thought of the times when granny used to open gua zi for us and then give it to us in a bag..so that we need not bite it to open the shell..then again..her house doesnt have the nut cracker..so we used to say that she used her mouth..and the gua zi shld be coated with her saliva..but actually..mum says she hammers it with the motar..hmm..and the ikan billis that were given to use were beheaded..and boneless..so sweet..and the aroma of the kopi o that she makes..but now all these are just memories..and how she used to pinch my face every cny if i dont wear red..1st cny without her..so many things seem so different..and had i not re-read my past blog entries..it didnt occur to me take granny was sick for 2 years..so many things at times we just dont cherish and were taken for granted..

on the happier side..she has been freed..

oh..so fast the 1st month of 2008 is gonna come to an end..time really does fly..
this year..i've got 2 decades of friendship..extinct gang...kevin and ivan..hard to believe that i 1st knew them at tuition and yet still in contact..and we are gonna visit our tutor during cny..
and well 6 degrees of friendship..thru tom..edle hears abt me and now we are contacting each other thru facebook..a friend whom i truely marvel at..and also meeting joel in techno for drink the other day..laughing at our innocent secondary school days..the times when we went out to study for Os..
kinda think..if certain things hadnt happened..these other things might not haf happened..so its kinda interesting..opening another part of my life for all these matters..eventually the hermit has to come out of the shell..

yesterday..i started my drinking spree again..haha..i had margaritas..kiwi and strawberry..not a mix..but 2 glasses..haha..at home..i shall drown in my honey choya..sweet..:)

hmm..just another hour or so..mum will close the bakery for the day..and we are going orchard to shop..haha..why wouldnt i go..shes gonna pay for my shopping..haha..shall just hunt for a bag..mayb a watch..haha..and see what can get for her too..
